It is a great, great program that is designed to help break the cycle of poverty. We sure could use the extra money right about now to keep doing our jobs. BUT, it should not be a part of stimulus. Come on, 13 odd dollars per week? That is nothing, the 119 Billion could be used someone else as a whole and do more. Food Stamps, education... are all important and need to be addressed and better funded. BUT, it should not be a part of stimulus. What needs to be done is cut all of that and only focus on what will immediately stimulate the economy, then after that crisis, work on all of those other very important things. That's what I had already thought, before hearing some Republicans voice the exact same thing. The problem is simple, the Dems and Obama are adding everything but the kitchen sink to a bill and calling it Stimulus in order to get what ever they want.
