Do not even pretend to know how Palin governs in Alaska. She is a joke here in Alaska mostly among the conservative republicans. I can’t prove to readers I’m from Alaska and follow the news closely, but previous remarks here on her governing in Alaska are completely FALSE. She has very little respect within the ranks of the AK Administration for lack of leadership abilities. I shudder to think what she would do to the US Administration. She is where she is because of Hollywood looks; and she gets away with it.

Sarah Palin is inarticulate. Her intelectual capacity is suspect. It is embarrassing to watch her struggle for coherence in her speech. I cringe at the thought of this person being the face of America for the whole world to see. It was embarrassing enough when George W Bush was that face.

Our great grandchildren will be paying for Obamas spending and all you can do is talk about Sarah Palin. I hope any liberals with some common sense if there are any, will support some conservative values, especially in regard to all this spending and what we owe china or we will all need to learn to speak chinese because they will own america. The interest alone is going to be a trillion dollars a year. We need more Sarah Palins in America to put a stop to the governments and liberal left wing insanity, and get back to financial responsibility to say nothing of the constitution that is being trashed in the march toward socialism. We have a government at present that is filled with tax cheating crooks and a person who is up for supreme court nomination (sotomayer) who has made a blatantly racist decision (re- New haven firefighter case, in which she backed the citys flagrantly racial discrimation against white and hispanic firefighters) Do you want these people running our government? Oh and before I get labeled as racist (which is so common when you don’t kowtow to the left wing dribble) I am a black american by the way. I thought I’d mention that to so you can save your breath by trying to label me racist. No doubt now I’ll Likely get labeled as ignorant. Sarah Palin just may reemerge as a viable Presidential candidate–it depends upon what Obama does and does not do. I voted for Obama, but I want to see results. I want to see the health care system overhauled, and the health insurance companies shut down just like the plantations using slave labor were shut down. I want to see something done for the American worker, such as getting decent vacations (Wal-Mart starts people off with just ONE week a year!) and unlimited sick leave. I want our workers to have at least the same benefits as German, French and British workers. We are currently the sweatshop of the Western world! Sarah Palin is smart but the GOP platform was just more of the same–no health care reform, no credit industry reform and nothing done about high gasoline prices, which are spiking again. I voted for Obama because I wanted to give the country back to the common man and woman, and take our country back from the greedy, super-rich who were eating up people’s incomes and homes. By the way, I voted Republican for decades but I got tired of the unending party for the rich. The average person was being strangled by the health insurance, credit and oil industries . . . our nation’s economic “axis of evil.” I don’t hate Palin or the GOP, but they have made themselves irrelevant–until they come up with some better ideas than simply catering to the rich.

I am conservative (wouldn’t vote for Palin with a gun to my head and voted for Obama), but I am always willing to discuss any issue with someone like you. Now, what do you bet someone will take note and say something really hateful and ignorant while thinking they are being impressive.

I hope whoever try’s to re invent Sarah Palin includes debate coaching, on how to decipher and answer the gotcha questions, such as what publications or news papers she reads regularly,… Since the woman is a avid hunter, if she had included Guns and Ammo on her list, I would not have held that against her. I am wondering how to overcome the idea she promotes abstainance only education in public schools, when her homeschooled daughter who had more supervision that most public school children, could have used some classes on family planning, to prevent gotcha baby’s by teen mom’s. I am not being sarcastic, this woman has incredible baggage, and she isnt even what the GOP really wants to sell, she needs to live up to standards she promotes, not be reinvented to put up a illusion these standards are ‘Realistic”. I will be interested to see any public debate’s Sarah Palin is involved in. I watch the old ones on you tube, when I think I judge her to harshly, so I would like new debates to go from. good luck to the re inventors or Palin, it wasent such a home run the first time up at bat.

I don’t care for EITHER party..i don’t care for politicians period. We, the American people, have let our government get too big. There are far too many politicians in Washington, DC. We need to vote to streamline the Federal Government, reduce how many politicians are in office and, incidently, save a lot of money by not having to pay the ridiciously high salaries they vote to give themselves!! Now, about Obama and Palin. Obama seems to be, so far, keeping most of the promises he made during his campaign. I’m not saying he’s doing everything right, but at least he is trying, which is more than a lot of our pastPresidents have done. As for Palin, I never liked her..Something about her just gets on my nerves. To be honest, what America REALLY needs, imho, is regular Americans in power, ones that are not politically motivated. That have no political axe to grind. After all, our Founding Fathers were not political men. They were businessmen, soldiers, farmers, woodsmen and so on. Let’s get back to our roots, America. Get rid of politicians. Let some people with some commonsense run things for a while..Sure can’t do any worse than the politicians have! And maybe our enemies and friends both will start treating us with proper respect if REAL Americans, by real I mean non-politically motivated, were in charge. Ok..I’ve said what I’ve been wanting to say for a loonngg time! lol Don’t get me wrong, for I LOVE this great country I was born and raised in..It’s the politicians that are, and have been for years, ruining us that I hate. BTW, DON’T let the politicians be lawyers!! Most of the ones we have NOW are bad enough without lettingex-politicians into practicing law!!!

Evidently, civilness is not required to comment on this blog. Such hate-mongering and biased comments do not persuade me that the writers are any better than the person they so willingly bash and condemn. Not just one person or political party created the mess we are in: You get what you vote for. Look at all the waste and wanton disregard for moral values that we see coming out of our national and state legislatures, the courts, and the Capitol. Yes, it’s a terrible situation and my heart goes out to all those who are hurting. Hard as it might be now, you need to quit complaining about “him/her/them” and think more about how YOU can make a difference in your community, your state, and your nation. And for goodness sake, do it with dignity and become a positive force in your community. Trash talk is exactly that: trash. We can change the world one day at a time. Pray for our leaders and hold them accountable to a higher standard. You get what you pray for. The only thing worse than doing nothing is to believe that one person or political party has ALL the answers and we should follow him/her blindly into the future. ‘Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.’
