It’s official: D.C. Council members must now “treat other members with dignity and respect and refrain from using profane, indecent or abusive language” during public meetings. But member David A. Catania (I-At Large), whose verbal tussle with Marion Barry (D-Ward 8) prompted the rule change, has no regrets: “I meant every word I said,” he told the Post’s Tim Craig. He added, speaking of the council: “It’s devolving into a place I don’t like.”
